Let Me Put You On: Theophilus London

Tonight brought the much need return of the Trifecta (My Parker Brother & H.R. Paperstacks). While we sat in a Wal*Mart parking lot for a grand total of 7 hrs (yeah that's how we roll), this song stayed on repeat. Theophilus London hails from Brooklyn and has a real smooth flow which goes lovely with his care free beats. "Flying Overseas" is off of his Lovers Holiday LP and is personally becoming a favorite of mine. I think the reason I'm borderline obsessed with him is because of his swag: it's so comfortable. He really is in touch with who is as an artist and refuses to compromise. Not to mention he is OD an 80s baby. I can definitely relate. Oh and that lovely woman singing is none other than Solange. Ain't it good to hear from her again?

When I'm overseas your love just come over me
Attacking me viciously in a sweet way that's loving to me
Gifts and diamond rings, a car, that's nothing to me
You send a picture, a mail package, that's something to me
