Chicago natives have been jerked around for years but hopefully T-Pain won't pull a J records and shelve their debut that's rumored to be dropping later this year. They first popped on the scene back in '06 with "Look At Her" and I'm assuming that they got tired of just staring at women because now they're back with "Sexin' on You". Sidebar...does anyone want to talk about how strong the product placement was? I mean damn, did Nuvo PAY to shoot the video? Also, would anyone like to discuss how the "let's give them shots of straight alcohol and lock them in a sweaty ass room" concept? No one? Ok...well their mixtape Ain't No Room For Talkin' is out now.

It's been a decade since Ms. Ex-G-Unit dropped her self titled debut album. I'm not going to lie. I wasn't really looking for her until I saw her on Love & Hip Hop and watched her struggle to get back in the game. I really respect her drive and wish her the best. I'm so happy she got up out of G-Unit's shadow and is able to do her own thang. R & B has been lacking as of lately. Thanks a LOT Young Money. "December" is the debut single off of Show the World which will be out later this year.

I love Nelly Furtado and I'm so happy to actually hear something new from her. She's one of those celebs that I could definitely see myself partying with and just enjoying life. "Night is Young" is off of her compilation album The Best of Nelly Furtado due out November 12th. Is it just me trying to start mess but isn't it funny that they bring a party back to the church.

You know Kandi but you don't KNOW that you know Kandi. She first came on the scene in the early 90s as a member of the girl group Xscape (Tiny, T.I's partner in crime, was also a member). Then she did her solo thing in the early 2000s and actually had a hit with "Don't Think I'm Not". And then she joined the cast of The Real Housewives of Atlanta and just aired all her dirty laundry. Well know she's back with a new look, sound, and album. I hate her hair. I do. Love the song but her hair? Nope. "Leave U" is the debut single off of Kandi Koated which drops December 14th.

Don't Call It A Comback: The Floacist

Now I'm not the one to start drama BUT I will state that there's a THIN line between a coincidence and a conspiracy, and this smells like the latter. So we all love the Brit duo Floerty. The ladies blended hip hop with R&B beautifully and it was heartbreaking to hear of their split in '07. Yeah Marsha Ambrosius (the singer) stayed on and brought in Amanda Diva (who I love) but ish was never the same. WELL, fast forward to Summer 2010 when Ambrosius dropped her SOLO debut Late Nights & Early Mornings. That's where the story ends right? Right? WRONG. Well I guess Natalie Stewart refused to be outdone because The Floacist is also dropping a solo album. Here's her debut single "Forever" featuring Musiq which is off of Floetic Soul (dropping November 9th). I'm not going to try and start nothing between these 2 but I would rather see them reunited. Wishful thinking? Regardless, this bald headed British Black beauty brought it! (Try saying that 3 times fast.)

I'm so excited to hear from this gifted neo-soul artist. It has literally been 9 years since her debut smash "Heard It All Before" hit the scene. She's dropped albums since then but nothing that created a real buzz. Well now she's back with another 'love don't live here no more' track. "Lie to Kick It" is off of The Sun Shines Again which drops November 2nd. I'm happy to announce that her songs don't mirror her personal life. She and her husband of 3 years are expecting a child next month.

The outtakes are classic. Hilarious and accurate. What more do you want out of life? And it's good to hear from Bobby Brown again. Reunited and it feels SO good.

Don't Call It A Comback: Tiffany Evans

Haven't heard from baby Ciara in a few years. Glad to announce that she's out with a new single "I'll Be There" which is supposed to be the debut to her upcoming album Ms. Tiffany, due out next year. At first I wasn't really feeling it. I mean she's finally legal (turned 18 in August) and she wants to return with this Michael Jackson we are the world type song? Really? Is that what you REALLY want to do? But on the other hand it's actually refreshing to hear a female artist sing about loyalty, as opposed to conceitedness. Not to mention music like this is GREATLY needed in light of all these recent teen suicides due to bullying. Much respect Ms. Evans for actually doing something as oppose to just dedicating your Facebook status to chain letter thoughts.

Monica is really trying to show a different side of her on her latest album, Still Standing which dropped yesterday. I can't say much for her reality series because I never watched it. But if it's as fierce and drama filled as this video then I might have to start. I don't know if I'm feeling this diet Cassie look she has going on but I LOVE the outfits, both designed by the late fashion designer Alexander McQueen. Diva defiantly brings her A game. Maybe know she'll FINALLY get the recognition she deserves for being in the game for damn near 2 decades.

Ok...BREATHE JENNIFER. [takes deep breath and exales]

I'm more excited than a porcupine meeting a pineapple. There are only two artists that have EVER made me believe in love. One is Maxwell (With or without the bohemian hair) and the other is Sade. Both went AWOL for most of my adolescent years and both have decided to step back into the studio to grace the world with their music. Sade's 6th studio album Soldier of Love drops February 8th. Though I'm happy she's back I don't know if I'm going to go out and cop it. I mean times are STILL hard. Diva has pulled a complete 180 musically as seen in the album's debut single of the same title. It's been a decade since her last album Lovers Rock and hopefully the world is ready for her return. Regardless, I'll stay by her side.

Don't Call It A Comeback: Janet Jackson

Michael Jackson is...dead. Right? Ok, just checking. There were moments when I was watching Janet Jackson's new video, "Make Me" and thought "Lawd Michael done pulled a thriller and is BACK!" No seriously, when she has that hat on? I swear they look like twins. Janet's new video was bittersweet in my opinion. The song's tempo reminds me of 70s Michael, you know, back when his scarecrow ass loved to party at Studio 54. But we are also introduced to "modern Janet", as in I think time has finally caught up to her. She pulls a Mary J and has more shots of her posing then of her actually dancing, which I found to be disappointing. Regardless of the lack of choreography or the ode to "Scream", the only song she's ever done with her brother, Janet's video definitely makes me want more.
