Cop Out (Trailer) Starring Tracy Morgan and Bruce Willis

Here's a piece of coal for your stocking. First of all Tracy Morgan in a starring role... wrong. Second of all, Bruce Willis co-starring... in a comedy... wrong. Oh well, it's not like we haven't seen this before (Google cop films by Martin Lawrence and Eddie Murphy).

Worse Remake Ever

Normally it's difficult, no damn near impossible, for Chris Rock to disappointment me. Then I saw the trailer to his new comedy, Death at a Funeral, out this spring. The movie is a remake to the 2007 British comedy of the exact same title. Actually, everything is the same, the plot, the lines, they even use the exact same actor to play the exact same role. Honestly, the only thing that separate the two is the fact the remake has...BLACK PEOPLE. This is almost as worse as when Diddy to that "remake" to "Missing You" in dedication of Biggy Smalls' death. All he really did was rap over it and have Faith Evens assist Sting in singing a few verses. But who am I kidding, I'm still going to see it. Chances are I won't pay to see it, but I'll still see it. Not for the plot but to see how Martin Lawrence and Chris Rock's comedic chemistry will play out. Oh and kudos to Danny Glover for finding work.

Valentines Day & Law Abiding Citizen Trailers

Remember back in the day when Jamie Foxx used to act, instead of all this silly singing nonsense he does now? Well... looks like he put the autotune away and picked up some scripts. he's in a few upcoming movies...

Valentines Day

well... i have to say, i've never been more apathetic towards a movie. This seems like the movie where once highly demanded movie stars go for their careers to die...

and i don't know how i feel that they waited a whole minute and a half into the trailer to let us hear the only black character speak.

Law Abiding Citizen

This movie actually seems interesting...

I have an obsession with court room dramas and action movies so... i'll probably make the trip to see this. (knowing my dislike for spending money, i may wait for it to get on bootlegg... just being real...) But we have till 2010 to wait for it to hit theaters nationwide. However, it's going to premiere next week during the 13th Annual Urbanworld Film Festival in New York, as the festival’s opening night film. What the hell is the Urbanworld Film Festival and why have i not heard of it until now?!?!

i wonder if Blue Vinyl can get a press pass...

More Than A Game

F

You might remember that album art from a post about Drake's collaboration with several other artists for the single titled "Forever." Like I said previously, the collaboration was made for the upcoming movie "More Than a Game." The movie's trailer can be found below. I don't know. Maybe it's because I'm from Harlem but the trailer got me hype.
