This isn't really an official Outkast release, so calm down. But HiStakes decided to take a few unreleased Outkast tracks and mixed them down. Accordign to him:

For my fellow OutKast fans: a smoothly-mixed, extensive compilation of b-sides, guest spots, and soundtrack features from 1992-1999.

These aren’t the original tracks. I mixed it to emphasize OutKast… I took almost everything else out cause I really didn’t want to listen to more Monica, singing Missy Elliot, Witchdoctor, or Slimm Cutta. It’s 95% or so straight lyrics from Andre and Big Boi… Tried to go for smooth transitions, nothing fancy. Hopefully, it’ll feel almost like a lost album – 54 minutes of straight Andre and Big Boi, with a few “guest” spots from T-Mo, Big Gipp, Slick Rick, etc.

You know what. I have to give it to Lil Wayne. You know basically owns hip hop when his Rebirth album debuted at NUMBER TWO on the billboard charts (despite it being leaked months in advance) considering how bad the music actually sounds. This entire video looks and sounds like a joke, literally. Like him and young money had a nice big laugh as Americans actually spent money on this album that probably took... hours... to create.

I am actually amazed. Good job lil wayne. Good Job...

Who Remembers Lil' Romeo?

So... Romeo's tryna make a comeback... and here's his latest song, "Practice." Unfortunately, after wasting four minutes watching him lick his lips, poorly swing a baseball bat, and bounce around in a parking garage, I've come to the conclusion that Romeo indeed needs "practice." With a new flow, more abs, descended testicles, and weak rhymes, I'm sure at least 5,000 people will buy his next album if he ever decides to work hard enough to release it. But don't get me wrong, the boy was apparently gettin' his academic grind on at USC so I'll at least give it to him for havin' the back-up plan he might obviously need based on the poor quality of this track. But enough hatin'... enjoy (or at least try to).

B.O.B.-Camera (Music Video)

So, I'm not the biggest B.O.B. fan but no one can deny the Spring season this guy has been having. With a sophomore effort that debuted at #1 on the Billboard charts and two radio hits to teh album's credit, one cannot avoid hearin' this guy's music. Here's the visuals to his track, "Camera." I like the concept of the song and can appreciate the fact that a #1 album actually has substance in this day and age. However, I thought more could've been done with the video as opposed to just showing video girls prance around half-naked. Take the audio out and you might see what I mean.

Break-Up Anthem

Video made me think of Flashdance and Grease at the exact same time. I'm loving this new Chris Breezy. Likes:
Drake kept the production consistent yet diverse with in-house beats from 40 and Boi-1da (dudes he came in the game with) and high-profile instrumentals from heads like Kanye, Timbaland, and Swizzy. Some of these features look great; notably, Jigga. However, I'm hopin' that track isn't like the one off of Blueprint 3 where Drake only hopped on the hook.

Dislikes:
I'm not a fan of the Dream; this album could be epic but with people like Nicki Minaj and Swizz Beatz actually providing vocals... it's just not a good look in my opinion. But who knows, these tracks could be some of the best, I haven't heard the album yet.

First of all, when you have random dudes who claim to be rappers wearing your chain and letting the world know about it while you sit around trying to eat off of one unsuccessful album, you should be doing some career management. And I'll give it to the dude, the album wasn't even that bad (commerically/from a mainstream angle) but you're label hated you so much they delayed the project for more than a year. QUIT NOW!

The 23 year old hails from Norway though she's originally from Kenya. She dropped her debut Living For Music in 08 and has been getting a lot of buzz from it. She's already won Favorite new artist for this Kenya awards show. Diva is definitely going places. Here's "Favorite" off of her debut album. I'm really feeling the video. Her bars aren't THAT tough but the swag is definitely there. I'm going to throw in a few more of her videos from her debut so you can get a feel of homegirl. On some realness, I am SO glad she got rid of that weave. She seems to be more in her element when she's rocking a natural...even if it is blonde.

Let Me Put You On: Diggy Simmons

Ehhhhhhhh ok. I have this thing about the kids of celebs following in their folks' footsteps. I don't like it...at ALL. Granted Diggy and the Run are in different eras of hip hop, but still, just not a fan of the concept. However, I think Diggy has potential. I don't necessarily like the lyrics though they are catchy. I wouldn't cop his debut mixtape Airborne, but I wouldn't change the radio station if this track came on. The video matched the song in simplicity. The only thing that carried the song was the marching band beat. Let's see what he can do. Who knows, maybe I'll be digging Diggy this summer.
