The Boondocks OFFICIALLY coming back MAY 2nd

(at least we know the new shows have at least been MADE)

After what seems like forvever of Aaron McGruder torturing his fans, we have yet another update from the Boondock's camp.

The Boondocks, the award-winning animated Adult Swim series based on Aaron McGruder’s comic strip by the same name, returns this spring for its third season. After taking a two year hiatus, creative and executive producer McGruder announced on his twitterfeed (@aaronmcgruder) that the third season premiere of The Boondocks will air on Sunday, May 2nd at 11:30 p.m. (ET/PT) on Adult Swim. The series, produced by Rebel Base in association with Sony Pictures Television, includes the vocal talents of Regina King (“Southland”) as Huey and Riley Freeman; John Witherspoon (“Friday After Next”) as Granddad; Gary Anthony Williams (“Boston Legal”) as Uncle Ruckus; Cedric Yarbrough (“Reno 911″) as Tom Dubois; Jill Talley (“American Dad”) as Sarah; and Gabby Soleil (“Johnson Family vacation”) as Jazmine.

The show will return to the small screen continuing to provide the touchy, and oftentimes controversial, humor and situations for which the show has become infamous for. The third season will cover various topics that range from politics and mainstream media, to social norms and pop culture.

yeah. We shall see about this. We'll keep you posted. But McGruder seems pretty positive about this final airdate. Well... more months of wait to go...

Hot or Not? TYGA

There are some people in the world who think Tyga need to die (ATM) and there are some who don't really know how they feel. Well Tyga let Blue Vinyl Radio into the studio with him as he laid down the track "I'm So Raw." Take a listen... i guess. In all honesty, I really just felt like posting something and this was the first thing i saw.





If anyone IS a Tyga fan out there... you'll notice he sounds a lot different than usual. His nasally voice was traded for some grown man vocal cords... interesting. Now he sounds EVEN MORE like everyone else.

Why is Chris Brown just standing there the whole time? Trying desperately to not get forgotten about i see... i think breezy gets the "worst fall from grace of 2009" award. it should never have gotten this bad.

Before this drops on Friday, XV released a track off this mixtape that i refused to download because it WASN'T GOOD. But everyone and their mom's is acting like we just re-discovered Drake. Now i know why why XXL has neglected to put him on their list of top freshmen for two years in a row.

Monica is really trying to show a different side of her on her latest album, Still Standing which dropped yesterday. I can't say much for her reality series because I never watched it. But if it's as fierce and drama filled as this video then I might have to start. I don't know if I'm feeling this diet Cassie look she has going on but I LOVE the outfits, both designed by the late fashion designer Alexander McQueen. Diva defiantly brings her A game. Maybe know she'll FINALLY get the recognition she deserves for being in the game for damn near 2 decades.

Just when I thought it was over Jaheim stepped BACK onto the scene. So the last time we heard from him was technically in ‘07 when he dropped The Makings of a Man. However, the last time we heard anything WORTHWHILE from him was back in ’02 with Still Ghetto. Because of that I’m going to say he’s been out the picture for about 8 years. I’m going to be honest, when I heard that his latest album Another Round had dropped last Tuesday, I wasn’t really interest in hearing him. I mean, my boy pulled a Trey Songz, Omarion, AND Mario and CUT THE BRAIDS. So I didn’t pay it no mind. Then my people started contacting me, asking me if I heard the album and if I knew where to find and blah blah blah. I didn’t so I decided to check it out.

YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO ISH GOT REAL!!!!!!!! Homie is REALLY on his grown man status with this album. There’s no auto-tuning on this bad boy. The only way he could perform any tracks off this album live is with a legit band and I LOVE that.

New TV: How To Make It In America

From the creators of ENTOURAGE, we now have HOW TO MAKE IT IN AMERICA. i have already seen the first episode, and i honestly thought it was some good television. The way it was filmed, i liked. The music used, i liked. The story and what not, I liked... People amping up the show and Kid Cudi's involvement, not so much. Dude was on screen for all of 60 seconds. Drop The World

It's been a long time since I've been excited this much about a live performance. I heard Weezy was coming out with some "rock" album. I was skeptical about where he was heading, that is, until Travis Barker showed up on the drums at the Grammy's performance to lend a hand to the rap trio on "Forever." I've followed Travis Barker since his early days when he made his debut in...

Then all of sudden, assuming "Forever" was the opening song, Weezy came out spitting on some ridiculous beat. On T.V. there was so much censoring but the sheer hotness of the track was enough for me to fall in love with the beat/lyrics. I came across an uncensored version of the performance...

I don't know about you, but I'll be monitoring the progress on the "Rebirth" album. That opening track will debut there. Here's the download for all those who are anxious.
