HOT OR NOT: Daniel Beddingfield

Daniel hasn't dropped a studio album since I was a Frosh...in high school. Well now he's back...with dancehall!!! I think it's a cute little jam but that's my opinion, what's yours?

We got caught in the fire, dark wins out everytime

Let Me Put You On: DJ Chose

First off, I LOVE the visuals. On some corny sentimental ish it makes my heart smile to see artists rep their city, especially when they first start out. Lyrically and visually this track is too intimate to pass over. Subscribe, support, follow.

Pioneers, inventors be the niggas we replacin'
If they don't let me in my spot then baby trust me I'mma take it

Let Me Put You On: Young Rocky

I don't know why I see myself running around Stop & Shop behaving all reckless with this track in my ear. Young Rocky may promote his youthfulness but his flow is definitely mature. Not to mention his ad libs are too funny. "Don't ask about me, just ask me." Subscribe, support, and follow.

I'm counting all this money but I rather count my blessings
It's funny how the small shit leaves a nigga stressing

Kid Cudi "No One Believes Me" (Video)

On August 19th Fright Night (which is a remake of an 80s flick) hits theaters and it's about a vampire and Vegas and some high school shit. Whatever, it's basically Disturbia meets The Lost Boys. I'll only see it because McLovin is in it...oh and because Colin Farrell has still got it. All that matters is Cudder has made a video for "No One Believes Me" which will be featured on the soundtrack and it's awkward yet full of pure human emotion, just like Cudi. SWOON.

I know that something is wrong here
I can feel it but no one believes me
I know that something is strange here
I can sense it but no one believes me

Peeped my boy Googling how to pick a lock? Hilarious.

Let Me Put You On: Starboy Nathan

Black Brits *grabs MLK fan* oh Black Jesus. Truth be told, I really wasn't checking for Starboy but once I stumbled on his acoustic video? SWOON. These are definitely the cool kids I would pregame with. "Hangover" is off of his upcoming sophomore album 3D- Determination, Dedication, Desire.

V.I.P. living like a rockstar
Now she's gripping on me like handle bars

HOT OR NOT: Teedra Moses

As the First Lady of Rick Ross' Maybach Music Label a lot is expected of Ms. Moses. She's already known for her songwriting skills ("Dip It Low" and "Here We Go" to name a few) but as a singer? I don't know. She doesn't lack talent but Wale's verse was definitely needed. Lawd, that double bass is fire. This is my opinion, what's yours?

"Another Luvr", both the original and the remix, can be found on her Luxurious Undergrind mixtape. Her album The Lioness drops sometime next year.

Loosing myself inside of love that was unreal
Never thought the day would come when I feel how I feel right now

Kanye West & Jay-Z "Otis" (Video)

I'm still processing the fact that Aziz Ansari is in this video. However, they get mad points for the donation at the end.

Luxury rap, the Hermes of verses
Sophisticated ignorance, write my curses in cursive

Driving Benzes, wit’ no benefits
Not bad huh? For some immigrants
Build your fences, we diggin’ tunnels
Can’t you see? We gettin’ money up under you

Oh and just in case you were curious about the song that was sampled...

I know she's waiting just anticipating
the thing that you'll never never possess
no no no but while she there waiting
try just a little bit of tenderness

Things That Make You Go Hmmm: Lil' B "R.I.P. The Rap Game" Video

This almost made me forget "Wonton Soup"...and "Charlie Sheen"...and "Dr. Phil"...and "Mel Gibson"...and "Bill Bellamy"...almost. Keep cooking meals like these Master Chef.

I don't want awards, don't want the fucking like
I think I'm The Source so I gave myself Five Mics

BlueTube: Black Dynamite the Animated Series

Adult Swim isn't playing. Michael Jai White. Tommy Davidson. Kym Whitley. And don't get me started on the graphics ohhhhh wow. Here's a trailer from the movie it's based off of. Black Dynamite premieres Spring 2012. I'm not saying that it's a little of a coincidence that when The Boondocks ain't around...let me stop...

HOT OR NOT: Nicole Scherzinger

Granted, the song is a tad catchy, but I feel as though she stole from both Katy Perry and Kelly Rowland and the result was this. Let me be honest, I prefer to watch her than listen to her. Yup, I said it. My thoughts, what's yours?

"Wet" is off of Killer Love which is out now.

If you touch me there, please beware you can start up a fire
I don't mind if you take me home, cool me off in the shower

Let Me Put You On: Ella Varner

Ella Varner is bringing back that good good R&B. J. Cole isn't that bad on the chorus either. Just a cute song to blast in homeroom for that special one in your life.

But you're so classic that I want you more than my Adidas
All the Bs are getting at you because your honey is sweeter

-Artemis J

Let Me Put You On: Kris Kasanova

There's so much passion when he spits that I swear I got chills. These visuals are poetic. Here's a taste of his next project, War Paint.

X marks the spot, by any means necessary
I'mma be legendary
They told me my future would have nothing but commissary
I'm making history, mention me every February

Cee-Lo Green "Cry Baby" (Video)

Jaleel White as Cee-Lo and a 1950s theme shot on an obvious constructed set? Honestly, what else do you need to make an AMAZING video? This is the perfect anthem for anyone rocking a Team Heartbreak jersey. Just saying...

I bet if you try, you could live without me
I really don't know why you bother to cry about be

Hot Mess Of The Week: Hosea Chanchez

I don't understand how actors can have amazing careers and decide to make a fool of themselves by branching off into other fields. Case in point, Hosea Chanchez, better known as Malik from The Game, believes that he can...um..."rap". Poor thang. To make matters worse this video has been FLAGGED on YouTube. Jinkies. He's fione and all but I don't know if I can let this one go. This is my opinion, what's yours?

If you ain't got no back
Then step to the side like you got sidetracked
I sneeze at you (achoo) like
I'm allergic to flat booties, gesundheit
