Yo! I liked this. Group called KIDS THESE DAYS from Chicago. Consists of three horns, a rapper, a blues-rock trio and a female singer. Kinda reminds me of DBK. Welp, cop their EP Hard Times due out in December.

Visuals to the Kanye-assisted, "Anyone But Him" by Mr. Hudson. Enjoy...

Music Video: Keri Hilson (feat. Rick Ross) - The Way You Love Me
At least Keri Hilson's realized she isn't going to make money from her voice alone. This is a mess of a video. Dead-beat R&B songstresses who have clearly fallen from the peak of their careers mixed with the over-sexualized visuals that don't necessarily compliment the sub-par vocals that are yelled more than they are sang. If someone can logically explain the concept of the video's plot to me, maybe I'll have a better take on it. I'd tell you to enjoy but you won't unless you like flat butt shaking around.

Tyga Freestyle On Tim Westwood
Tim Westwood's freestyle sessions are always fun to watch. You usually hear some hilarious adlibs and even get to hear some artists destroy beats. Tyga's up next in this Tim Westwood session.

New Bruno Mars
I am almost certain that this video was inspired by the surrealist silent film Un Chien Andalou. Ok, maybe not but both pieces have a guy pulling a piano. I love the song but REALLY? Hispanic gangbangers start mess with you Bruno? They were probably trying to warn you about your messy ass girlfriend. And is me but is it extremely odd that he's been standing by these train tracks so long that it's no longer morning? She got you like that homeslice? Disrespectful. "Grenade" is off of his debut album Doo-Wops & Hooligans which is already in stores so go out and cop.

Around The Way: Ethiopia
Before you say anything, yes I know, she seems to resemble a certain black Barbie. Whatever. I prefer Lola Monroe to Nicki Minaj ANY DAY. This model/rapper/actress was born Fershgenet Melaku and is of both Ethiopian and Trinidadian decent. Her lyrics are clever and comical. But best of all, she doesn't sound so damn annoying when she spits. "Overtime" is off of her fourth mixtape Bo$$ Bitch's World II: Batteriez Not Included, due out sometime next month.

Music Video: Cyhi Da Prince - Living Wonderful
When I got a chance to peep Kanye's G.O.O.D. Music roster as of late, I had to admit that I wasn't too keen on checking out Atlanta's own CyHi Da Prince. However, I'm feelin' the rhymes he laid down on this one and definitely have to give him credit on the visuals and production that went into the song (J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League is something you should pay attention to).

B.o.B "Don't Let Me Fall" (Video)
Hey all. I'm going to keep this short and simple. I love B.o.B. and Bobby Ray. I'mk disspaointed that I don't own B.o.B Presents: The Adventures in Bobby Ray. This is the latest video off of that album and what can I say but, it's amazing. He's one of the FEW artists now that I think truly haven't allowed stardom to change them. I can remember his mixtape days and gosh [wipes tear] I'm so proud of him. Go out and cop.
Yeah, not far much longer
From where that pavement is
Cause there ain't no parachute
That they can make for this

Adale "Rolling in the Deep" (Video)
Yes this is real. Adele is finally BACK. "Rolling in the Deep" is the debut single off of her sophomore album which is cleverly titled 21 (that's how hold she'll be when she was recording it). Get excited. Oh and don't be fooled. This is actually the music video to the song. I know, mad artisitc for no reason. 21 hits stores January 21st of next year.

Around The Way: Austrailia
Jessica Mauboy is SO adorable. This 21 year old got her start on the Australian version of American Idol (came in 2nd place) at the tender age of 16. She has a strong voice and it kinda bothers me that she got thrown in to Pop. You have to see her killing a Whitney Houston classic in the middle of a damn desert. She is THAT hardcore. i don't know if I'm really feeling this girl power cd. I mean, all I've seen from her so far is materialistic songs. Regardless, I love her voice and will support her. "Saturday Night" are off of her sophomore album Get Em Girls which is in stores now.
Smoked till in up my lungs so I'm blowing blubble, blubble, blubble, blubble
It's Saturday night so let's get in trouble, trouble, trouble, trouble

New Music: J. Cole feat. Wale - You Got It
I legitimately almost screamed "Yes" when the intro came in. For those of you who are not familiar with Janelle Monae, this song samples her album cut "Neon Valley Street." Granted the beat is a bit choppy but let me find out J. Cole has me tempted to download his upcoming mixtape Friday Night Lights due out tomorrow with the rhymes he laid down on this one. Enjoy...

New Cee-Lo
The Lady Killer is back a new video to "Bright Lights, Bigger City" which is off of his current album The Lady Killer. What I appreciate about this song is that it shows that the party doesn't have to end just because you get older. One day we'll have to give up the living forever/dying young party scene and I'm ok with that.
Yes I need it
Everybody does
Cocktails and conversation
Music and making love

New Wiz Khalifa
This song just makes me proud to be black/African American/alive. The music is a Toto sample called, are you ready for this, "Africa". This weekend just became Lion King weekend.
Now they gotta talk about me when I'm gone.

The Connect: Shanaz Dorsett - Above The Clouds
who doesn't love soulful music all the way from the UK? Shanaz's debut EP is finally here, and showcases a lot of the work she's been doing, making a splash on the music scene overseas.

Chrisette Michele "I'm A Star" (Video)
I honestly love this woman. Her music always makes me feel better when I'm down. "I'm a Star" is the debut single off of her upcoming album Let Freedom Reign, which drops November 30th. Side note: Does she hate hair or what? She reminds me a lot Taraji P. Henson, you know, the actress from Baby Boy.
Rain starts pourin and it don't stop
Let myself drown no I will not
Smile on my pretty mug
I get right back on my horse and I giddy up

Harlem's Smooth Session
Following the current trend of releasing new music weekly, I will begin posting up my personal favorite "smooth" tracks of the week.
Below we have this past week's G.O.O.D. Friday music release titled "The Joy" and a re-release of Jamie Foxx and Drake's "Fall for Your Type." The re-release features some new verses and effects that make the song more enjoyable than any of the previous versions.
Jamie Foxx - Fall For Your Type ft. Drake
Kanye West - The Joy ft. Pete Rock, Jay-Z, Charlie Wilson, Curtis Mayfield & Kid Cudi
